suis un poumon
starts from an utopia: the utopia of a sensory experience where boundaries are
blurred. Utopia of an immersive experience within a body, which is not strictly
contained within the skin body. It is a project for an enhanced perception, not
only about visibility, built up through three bodies: the performer-body, the
sound-body, the video-body.
The
project is centered on the breathing, as the realm for welcoming people
within an environment of relaxing, poetic quietness and connection with
oneself.
je
suis un poumon is
an installation of a huge lung where the audience is invited to enter , lay
down, listen and feel the breathing environment.
This
environment may be activated by the performance. The performer-body leads the
perception of the audience into a sensory confusion, creating an embodied
relationship between this body performing and one's own audience body.
The whole
experience of the lung is nourished by individual or collective workshops of
practicing breathing proposed by Claire Buisson.

Festival Vivat la Danse, le Vivat-Scène Conventionnée d'Armentières (France).
For five days, the installation-performance will be settled within the psychiatric hospital of Armentières. Some breathing workshops will be realized with the patients and medical practitionners, who will be invited then to discover the lung. Audience will be asked to make an appointment to be welcomed into this performative moment of care.
